TWO DAY DBT-CTEP SPONSORED LECTURE SERIES BY DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCES

The Department of Sciences, successfully organized a two-day DBT CTEP-sponsored lecture series on 8th–9th April, featuring three insightful sessions.
The first lecture, “Opportunities and Prospects in Biotechnology”, was delivered by Prof. Sarad Kumar Mishra, Director of Research, Institute of Agriculture and Natural Sciences, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, highlighting the interdisciplinary scope and transformative impact of biotechnology. The second lecture, “Biotechnology-Driven Waste Management Solutions for a Sustainable Future”, was delivered by Dr. Monika, Department of Sciences, Trinity College Jalandhar, focusing on microbial innovations for sustainable waste management.The third session, “Plant Biotechnology: Applications, Current Status, and Future Perspective”, was presented by Dr. Rajnish Sharma, Head, Department of Biotechnology, Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan.
