Quiet study environment

All materials are scientifically classified using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) method, with each book assigned a unique call number for easy access.

Faculty and students enjoy open access to our collection of approximately 15,000 books across 18 different disciplines, with focus areas in Computer Science, Commerce, Literature, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, History and General Knowledge.

Library Rules & Etiquette

The library is a holy shrine of learning and must be treated with respect
Absolute silence must be maintained inside and near the library
Library hours: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Lunch break: 1:00–1:30 p.m.)
Maximum 3 books per student for 14 days
Identity cards must be carried at all times
Belongings must be kept at the property counter
Books must be checked while leaving the library
Reference books, magazines and newspapers are not issued
Damage or loss of books will result in fines or replacement
Late return fine: Rs. 1 per day per book
No books issued during summer holidays

Book Bank

Provides textbooks to students who cannot afford to buy them. Books are issued for one semester on recommendation of the Head of Department after depositing a nominal security amount.

Journals & Periodicals

Essential for staying updated in the ever-changing academic world. We provide sufficient journals, magazines and newspapers to keep learners informed of current affairs and academic developments.

Reference Section

Features a strong collection including Encyclopaedias, Dictionaries, Year Books, Almanacs and Atlases of international repute for comprehensive research needs.

Loss of Books Policy

Lost books must be replaced with a new copy plus Rs. 50 fine
If unavailable, submit a related book of equal or higher price
For series, the complete set must be replaced
If replacement impossible, pay double the book price

Library Membership

Each student must apply for library membership using the prescribed form along with a stamp-size recent photograph.

Loss of Library Identity Card: Report immediately with Rs. 25 fine for duplicate

Feedback & Suggestions

Complaints should be submitted in writing to the Principal for proper attention
Suggestions for new books and journals are always welcome and appreciated
