With immense gratitude to the Almighty and sincere appreciation to the Management, faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, and stakeholders, I am pleased to present the Annual Report of the College for the Academic Session 2025-26. The year has been particularly significant as we entered the Silver Jubilee Year of our institution, marking twenty-five years of excellence, innovation, service, and commitment to quality education.

Over the past year, the college has continued its journey of growth by embracing academic excellence, fostering a culture of research and innovation, strengthening infrastructure, promoting skill-based learning, and creating opportunities for the holistic development of students. Guided by our vision and mission, we have worked diligently to provide an environment that nurtures intellectual curiosity, ethical values, social responsibility, and professional competence.

This report presents a comprehensive overview of the institution's achievements and initiatives across various dimensions of higher education. It highlights our progress in curriculum enrichment, teaching-learning processes, research and innovation, faculty development, infrastructure enhancement, student support and progression, governance and leadership, extension activities, best practices, and institutional values. It also showcases the remarkable accomplishments of our students and faculty members in academics, research, sports, cultural activities, NSS, NCC, and community engagement.

The year has been a testimony to the collective efforts of all stakeholders who have contributed towards strengthening the institution's reputation and advancing its pursuit of excellence. As we celebrate our Silver Jubilee milestone, we take pride in our achievements, reflect on our journey, and renew our commitment to preparing responsible citizens and future leaders capable of meeting the challenges of an ever-changing world.


1. Curricular Aspects

"A strong curriculum does more than educate minds; it empowers individuals with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to thrive in an ever-changing world."

Keeping pace with emerging trends and industry requirements, the college continued to enrich the academic experience through innovative learning opportunities and meaningful collaborations. Our focus remained on providing education that is relevant, skill-oriented, and future-ready.

During the academic year, the institution strengthened its academic network by maintaining 21 functional MoUs with reputed organizations and institutions, creating valuable opportunities for student learning, training, and professional exposure. Further expanding these collaborations, a new MoU was signed with Raj IAS Academy to provide quality coaching and guidance for competitive examinations.

In a significant academic achievement, the college received approval from GNDU to introduce a PG Diploma in Cosmetology from the academic session 2026-27, opening new avenues for specialized and career-oriented education.

To enhance employability and holistic development, the college successfully offered 21 Certificate and Short-Term Courses across diverse fields such as Life Skills, Professional Ethics, Human Values, Soft Skills, English Language Enhancement, Computer Proficiency, Data Analytics, Office Automation, Application Development, Advanced Python Programming, Graphic Designing, Beauty Culture, and Cosmetology. These courses enabled students to acquire practical skills, industry-relevant competencies, and confidence to excel in their chosen careers.

Through these initiatives, the college reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing competent professionals, lifelong learners, and socially responsible citizens.


2. Teaching – Learning and Evaluation

"Great teaching inspires curiosity, meaningful learning unlocks potential, and fair evaluation transforms hard work into achievement."

At the heart of every successful institution lies a vibrant teaching-learning environment. Throughout the academic year, the college remained committed to providing a learner-centric experience through innovative teaching practices, continuous mentoring, and a robust evaluation system that encouraged students to strive for excellence.

The dedication of our faculty members and the perseverance of our students were reflected in the outstanding academic achievements recorded during the year. Our students brought pride to the institution by securing five University Merit Positions, demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence and consistent performance.

The spirit of achievement extended beyond the classroom as students excelled in prestigious professional examinations. One of our students has cleared UGC (NET), two students successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants (CA), two cleared the CA Intermediate Examination, and three students qualified the CA Foundation Examination, marking significant milestones in their professional journeys and bringing laurels to the institution.

To further strengthen academic quality and transparency, the college introduced an enhanced system of academic monitoring and e-documentation, ensuring systematic record management, effective tracking of academic progress and improved governance practices. These initiatives have contributed significantly towards creating a more efficient, accountable, and technology-driven academic ecosystem.

Through a combination of innovative teaching, continuous assessment, academic mentoring, and technology-enabled governance, the college continues to nurture confident learners, critical thinkers, and future professionals ready to make meaningful contributions to society.


3. Research, Innovations and Extension

"Research is where curiosity meets creativity, and knowledge transforms into innovation that benefits society."

The academic year 2025-26 was marked by remarkable achievements in research, innovation, and scholarly contributions. The college continued to foster a vibrant research culture by encouraging faculty members to explore new ideas, undertake meaningful projects, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.

A major highlight of the year was the successful acquisition of research and academic grants worth Rs. 6,35,000/-, reflecting the confidence reposed in the institution by prestigious funding agencies. These grants included:

  • Rs. 3,50,000/- from AICTE-ATAL Academy for conducting a Faculty Development Programme.
  • Rs. 2,00,000/- from the Punjab Biodiversity Board for organizing Nature Camps at Harike and Kanjli Wetlands.
  • Rs. 25,000/- from the Punjab Biodiversity Board for organizing an International Symposium.
  • Rs. 60,000/- from DBT-CTEP, New Delhi for conducting a series of academic lectures.

The institution also demonstrated its growing research capabilities by submitting five research proposals to various government and non-government agencies, out of which three proposals received approval, paving the way for future academic and research initiatives.

The scholarly contributions of the faculty members remained highly commendable. During the year, faculty members published 13 research papers in reputed national and international journals, authored 6 book chapters, and edited 2 books. Their innovative work also resulted in 3 patent publications and one UK-registered design, showcasing the institution's commitment to creativity and intellectual property generation.

Adding another feather to the institution's cap, four faculty members successfully completed their Ph.D. degrees, strengthening the college's academic and research profile.

In order to further promote a culture of inquiry, innovation, and quality research, the institution has introduced the "Excellence in Research Award," which will be implemented from the academic session 2026-27 to recognize and encourage outstanding research contributions by faculty members.

Through these achievements, the college continues to establish itself as a centre of academic excellence where research, innovation, and community engagement go hand in hand to create meaningful impact.


4. Infrastructure and Learning Resources

"A vibrant learning environment is built not only with walls and classrooms but with resources that inspire innovation, creativity, and academic excellence."

Recognizing that quality infrastructure plays a vital role in shaping the educational experience, the college continued to invest in modern facilities and technology-driven resources that support effective teaching, learning, and institutional growth.

One of the significant milestones of the year was the inauguration of the Dr. Doris John Computer Lab, providing students with enhanced access to advanced computing facilities and creating new opportunities for skill development and digital learning.

The institution further strengthened its ICT-enabled teaching-learning ecosystem by upgrading technological resources and encouraging the integration of digital tools into classroom instruction. These initiatives have made learning more interactive, engaging, and accessible for students.

In a step towards greater efficiency and sustainability, the college introduced a comprehensive e-documentation system, enabling systematic digital record management and streamlined institutional processes. This initiative has significantly improved documentation practices while promoting a paper-light and technology-driven work culture.

The college also continued to enrich its learning environment through the regular enhancement of academic resources, digital facilities, and student support infrastructure, ensuring that learners have access to the tools and opportunities needed to excel in a rapidly evolving world.

Through continuous infrastructural development and technological advancement, the institution remains committed to creating a dynamic and future-ready campus where learning, innovation, and excellence flourish together.


5. Student Support and Progression

"The success of an institution is best reflected in the achievements of its students and the opportunities it creates for their future."

At our college, student development extends beyond the classroom. Through continuous academic mentoring, career guidance, skill enhancement programmes, and placement support, we strive to empower students to pursue their aspirations with confidence and determination.

The year witnessed encouraging progress in student placements and higher education opportunities. A total of 40 students successfully secured employment, marking an important step in their professional journeys. Among them, 33 students were placed through on-campus recruitment drives, while 7 students secured placements through off-campus opportunities, reflecting their competence and employability.

In addition to employment, 13 students opted for higher education, demonstrating their commitment to academic advancement and lifelong learning.

To bridge the gap between education and employment, the college organized three major placement drives in collaboration with leading organizations, including RKI Autoparts, A&A Solar Power, and a Mega Job Fair conducted in association with the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE). The Mega Job Fair brought together 13 companies, offering diverse career opportunities to aspiring graduates.

More than 100 students actively participated in these recruitment initiatives, gaining valuable exposure to industry expectations, interview processes, and career opportunities.

These achievements reflect the institution's unwavering commitment to nurturing talent, enhancing employability, and preparing students to become confident professionals and responsible contributors to society.


6. Governance, Leadership and Management

"Strong leadership provides direction, effective governance ensures progress, and teamwork transforms vision into reality."

The college continued to strengthen its governance framework through strategic planning, participative management, and a commitment to quality enhancement. Guided by the principles of transparency, accountability, and institutional excellence, several initiatives were undertaken to improve organizational efficiency and decision-making processes.

A significant milestone during the year was the introduction of a new Organogram aligned with NAAC guidelines, ensuring greater clarity in roles, responsibilities, and institutional functioning. To further strengthen planning and quality assurance mechanisms, a College Development Committee was established under the leadership of the IQAC. Additionally, 11 Core Committees were constituted to facilitate effective governance, promote collaborative decision-making, and streamline various academic and administrative activities.

Recognizing that faculty members are the backbone of the institution, continuous efforts were made to support their professional growth and academic pursuits. The management provided financial assistance amounting to Rs. 30,600/- to 34 faculty members for research, professional development, and academic enrichment activities. Faculty members were also encouraged and supported to participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, Faculty Development Programmes, and research initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

These initiatives have significantly strengthened institutional governance and reinforced the college's commitment to creating an environment where innovation, quality, and collective growth flourish.


7. Faculty Development and Human Resource Enrichment

"The strength of an institution lies in the knowledge, dedication, and continuous growth of its teachers."

Believing that empowered teachers create empowered learners, the college placed special emphasis on faculty development and professional enrichment throughout the academic year. Faculty members enthusiastically participated in various training programmes, academic engagements, and skill enhancement activities aimed at keeping pace with emerging trends in higher education.

During the year, 17 faculty members participated in 37 Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), gaining valuable insights into innovative teaching practices, research methodologies, and emerging academic trends. Further strengthening their professional competencies, two faculty members successfully completed Orientation/Refresher Courses, while two faculty members earned certifications through SWAYAM and other online learning platforms.

The spirit of lifelong learning was also reflected in the active participation of faculty members in academic forums across the country. Collectively, they attended 62 national and state-level seminars, conferences, and workshops, enabling them to exchange ideas, share research findings, and remain connected with contemporary developments in their respective disciplines.

These efforts have not only enhanced the academic competence and professional expertise of the faculty but have also enriched the overall teaching-learning environment of the institution, ensuring quality education for our students.


8. Institutional Values, Best Practices and Social Responsibility

"Education finds its true meaning when knowledge is guided by values, enriched by compassion, and dedicated to the service of humanity."

The college remained steadfast in its commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens by promoting environmental consciousness, ethical values, community engagement, and sustainable practices. Throughout the year, various initiatives were undertaken to instill a sense of responsibility towards society and the environment among students and staff.

A major highlight of the year was the successful organization of Nature Conservation Programmes at Harike and Kanjli Wetlands, providing students with valuable opportunities to understand biodiversity, environmental preservation, and sustainable living practices. These programmes encouraged participants to appreciate nature and recognize their role in protecting ecological resources for future generations.

Further strengthening its commitment to environmental awareness, the college organized an International Symposium on Biodiversity and Environmental Sustainability, bringing together academicians, experts, researchers, and students to deliberate on pressing environmental challenges and innovative conservation strategies.

The institution also continued to promote holistic education through various Certificate Courses on Human Values, Professional Ethics, Life Skills, and Personality Development, helping students develop integrity, leadership qualities, social sensitivity, and a strong moral foundation.

As a part of its quality enhancement initiatives, the college adopted innovative digital practices and strengthened its e-documentation and quality assurance systems, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and effective institutional management.

Through these initiatives, the college continues to foster a culture of responsibility, sustainability, ethical leadership, and community service, reaffirming its commitment to creating not only successful professionals but also responsible citizens and compassionate human beings.


9. Student Achievements in Cultural, Sports, NCC and NSS Activities

"Talent shines brightest when passion is nurtured, opportunities are provided, and excellence is celebrated."

The academic year was marked by exceptional achievements of our students in cultural, sports, NCC, and NSS activities. Through their dedication, creativity, discipline, and perseverance, they brought immense pride and recognition to the institution at various levels.

Cultural Achievements

Our students showcased their artistic flair, intellectual abilities, and creative talents at the Zonal and Inter-Zonal Youth Festivals, securing several prestigious positions and earning accolades for the institution.

  • First Prize in Poster Making at both Zonal and Inter-Zonal levels.
  • First Prize in Cartooning.
  • First Prize in Debate.
  • Second Prize in Costume Parade.
  • Third Prize in Collage Making.
  • Third Prize in Poetry Recitation.
  • Third Prize in Mimicry.

Inter-College Competitions

The institution actively participated in various inter-college competitions, providing students with platforms to demonstrate their abilities and gain valuable exposure.

  • Participation in competitions hosted by 16 colleges.
  • Representation in 37 individual and group events.
  • An impressive tally of 17 prizes, including:

Sports Achievements

The year was equally rewarding in the field of sports, where our students displayed remarkable determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. A proud moment for the institution was the team's achievement of a Gold Medal in the Inter-College Football Tournament, demonstrating exceptional athletic talent and team spirit. Adding another feather to the institution's cap, Shreya Chandra won a Gold Medal in the 75 Kg Youth Category at the 28th Punjab State Girls Wushu Championship 2026, bringing state-level recognition to the college.

NSS and NCC Achievements

Our NSS volunteers and NCC cadets continued to uphold the values of discipline, leadership, service, and patriotism. A matter of great pride was the selection of Mr. Amritpal Singh to participate in the prestigious Republic Day Camp Parade held on 26 January 2026, representing the institution at the national level. Further highlighting the excellence of our NCC unit, Cadet Ms. Akriti was honoured as the Best Cadet during the Annual Combined Training Camp, recognition of her dedication, leadership qualities, and outstanding performance.

These achievements stand as a testament to the institution's commitment to holistic education, where students are encouraged to excel not only in academics but also in sports, cultural pursuits, leadership, and community service.


10. Institutional Distinctiveness and Silver Jubilee Celebrations

The academic year 2025-26 holds a special place in the history of the institution as we proudly embarked on the celebration of our Silver Jubilee Year, marking twenty-five years of dedicated service, academic excellence, and transformative education. This milestone stands as a reflection of the vision of our founders, the dedication of our management, the commitment of our faculty and staff, and the achievements of generations of students.

The Silver Jubilee Year was formally inaugurated on 27 April 2026, ushering in a year of celebration, reflection, and renewed aspirations. As part of this landmark occasion, the institution announced 25 Silver Jubilee Initiatives aimed at enhancing academic excellence, student development, community engagement, infrastructure, and institutional growth.

A particularly memorable moment of the year was the celebration of the Silver Jubilee of the Priesthood of Rev. Fr. Peter Kavumpuram, honouring his years of dedicated spiritual leadership, service, and invaluable contribution to the institution and society.

The year also witnessed significant developments in the institution's leadership. The college community came together to felicitate and welcome members of the management who assumed new responsibilities and leadership roles:

  • Rev. Fr. Peter K. on his elevation as Managing Director, TGI.
  • Rev. Fr. John M. on his appointment as Finance Administrator.
  • Rev. Fr. Thomas on assuming charge as Director, Trinity College.
  • Rev. Fr. Jibu Joseph on his elevation as Director, TIMT.

These significant milestones not only enriched the Silver Jubilee celebrations but also reinforced the institution's vision, leadership, and commitment to excellence. As we celebrate this historic chapter, we look forward with gratitude, confidence, and renewed determination to continue our journey of empowering young minds and building a legacy of excellence for generations to come.
