Intellectual Property Rights
The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell of Trinity College is established to promote awareness, innovation, and protection of intellectual property among students, faculty, and staff. The Cell encourages ethical research practices and supports the creation, safeguarding, and effective utilization of intellectual assets within the institution.
Objectives
- To create awareness about Intellectual Property Rights and their importance.
- To promote innovation, creativity, and original research.
- To encourage protection and ethical use of intellectual property.
- To support faculty and students in filing patents, copyrights, and other IPRs.
Functions
- Organizing IPR awareness programmes, workshops, and expert lectures.
- Providing guidance on IPR filing procedures and documentation.
- Supporting implementation of the institutional IPR policy.
- Maintaining records of IPR-related activities and outcomes
