Internal Complaint Committee
To ensure prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace
(PREVENTION, PROHIBITION & REDRESSAL)
Criteria & Behavior
“SEXUAL HARASSMENT” includes anyone or more of the following unwelcome acts or behavior (whether directly or by implication), namely:
Who can complaint?
An ‘aggrieved woman’ in relation to a workplace, is a woman of any age, whether employed or student, who alleges to have been subjected to any act of sexual harassment.
Stepwise Procedure
Initial Reporting
The individual experiencing victim may directly report the issue to their respective class in-charge or mentor. Alternatively, they may submit their complaint through the official email of the Internal Complaint Committee within 7 days the incident occurs.
Escalation to the Committee
The mentor will escalate the matter to the concerned Internal Complaint Committee for review and action.
Involvement of the Chairperson
The Internal Complaint Committee will present the case to the Chairperson of the Committee for further deliberation.
Escalation to Principal/Director
The Chairperson will bring the matter to the attention of the Principal/Director for final assessment.
Resolution and Decision

Hearing
The committee will hear the case in details from aggrieved party in detail.
Notice
The notice will be served within 3 days to alleged party to present their case before the committee within 2 days from getting the notice.
Enquiry
The management will form inquiry Committee to study the matter in detail. The Inquiry team will submit their observations about the case within 7 days after interacting with all the parties involved in the matter directly or indirectly and verifying the relevant facts.
Final Decision
On the basis of recommendations of this inquiry committee, final decision will be made by the management within 3 days from receiving the report from inquiry team.
The ICC will prepare closure report mentioning detailed account of the investigation, findings, and conclusive remarks within 3 days from the final decision.
