National Science Day Celebrated

The Department of Sciences (C.V. Raman Society), Trinity College, Jalandhar, celebrated National Science Day on 27th and 28th February in honour of Sir C.V. Raman, based on the theme “Role of Women in Science.” On 27th February, a guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Harjinder Kaur (Assistant Professor, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar) on “Role of Science in Everyday Life,” which was highly informative and interactive. On 28th February, an awareness session on the World Leprosy Eradication Programme was conducted by Dr. Minakshi Sharma, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and public awareness. Various competitions, including PPT Presentation, Science Talk, and Quiz, were also organized to promote scientific temperament and creativity among students. Students participated enthusiastically and showcased great interest in the activities.
