Trinity College Jalandhar Organizes Free Medical Camp at Village Karari in Collaboration with NHS Hospital
Behind the Scenes
Demonstrating its commitment to community welfare and social responsibility, the Admission Cell of Trinity College Jalandhar, in collaboration with NHS Hospital, successfully organized a One-Day Free Medical Camp at Village Karari. The initiative aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to the local community while strengthening the institution’s engagement with society. The camp received an overwhelming response, with more than 115 villagers benefiting from free medical consultations, health check-ups, and expert medical guidance offered by the NHS Hospital team. Representing Trinity College, Dr. Sannya Sharma and Assistant Professor Harjot Kaur accompanied the medical team and actively contributed to the successful organization and smooth execution of the camp. Their dedicated efforts ensured effective coordination and meaningful interaction with the local residents throughout the event. In addition to healthcare services, the college team utilized the opportunity to create awareness about the various academic programmes and career-oriented courses offered by the institution. Through direct interaction with students and parents from the village, the team highlighted the educational opportunities available at Trinity College. As a result, several prospective students expressed keen interest in seeking admission and are expected to visit the campus for further guidance and counseling. The camp was further strengthened by the active support and cooperation of the Village Panchayat. The presence of the Village Sarpanch throughout the programme played a vital role in ensuring smooth arrangements and encouraging community participation. The event served as a meaningful platform for promoting health awareness, community engagement, and educational outreach. It reflected Trinity College Jalandhar’s continued dedication to serving society through initiatives that contribute to the well-being and development of local communities. The successful organization of the camp once again highlighted the institution’s vision of combining academic excellence with social commitment, creating a positive impact beyond the boundaries of the classroom.
