🌿🌊 WETLAND WANDERERS Where Nature Became the Classroom 🐦✨ The Department of Sciences of Trinity College proudly hosted the Nature Camp “Wetland Wanderers: Embark on a Journey of Discovery!” from February 2–4, 2026, creating a soulful blend of learning, exploration, and conservation. Organised under the Environment Education Programme, with support from the MoEFCC, Government of India, and the PSCST, the camp unfolded as a true celebration of nature 🌏💫. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ajay Prashar, Principal, Trinity College, with Mr. Miraj Ahmed (LPU) adding grace to the occasion. 🍃 Day 1 | Harike Wetland A vibrant beginning amidst nature’s wonders—treasure hunts, nature walks, bird watching, still rally, and vlog making transformed curiosity into discovery and learning into adventure 🧭📷🦜. 🍃 Day 2 | Harike Wetland An enlightening session by Mr. Manik Kapoor, a renowned wildlife rescuer authorised by the Government of Punjab, shed light on human–wildlife coexistence, snake awareness 🐍, and pug mark identification. The day sparkled with creativity through eco-craft, clean-up drives, sketching, face making, and a heartfelt pledge to protect wetlands ♻️🎨💚. 🍃 Day 3 | Kanjli Wetland The journey continued at Kanjli Wetland, featuring a visit to the Fish Hatchery and an insightful talk by Mr. Balwinder, Senior Fishery Officer, Kapurthala. Mr. Bobinder, Incharge, Kanjli Wetland, passionately highlighted the ecological significance of wetlands and the urgent need for their conservation 🌊🐟. ✨ Moments to Remember The Kanjli Wetland Authority honoured Rev. Fr. Peter Kavumpuram, Dr. Minakshi Sharma (Coordinator), and Dr. Neetu Khanna (Co-Coordinator) for their unwavering commitment to environmental awareness. 🏅 Best Camper Girl: Bhawna 🏅 Best Camper Boy: Sukhchain The valedictory session celebrated participation, learning, and unforgettable memories.
