WOMEN EMPOWERNMENT:AWARENESS ON WOMEN’S RIGHTS
The Gender Equity Forum conducted an INDUCTION PROGRAM on “Women Empowerment: Awareness on Women’s Rights” on the occasion of International Women’s day. Dr. Mona Goel, Asst. Prof. Dept. of Laws, GNDU, Regional Campus, Ladhewali, Jalandhar was the Resource Person of the day. Mr. Dheeraj (Advocate) was also the guest of the day. The Resource Person interacted with the students and delivered the session with intense enthusiasm. The whole session was fruitful.
After the Interaction Program, A new initiative was taken by the Gender Equity Forum. According to the UGC guidelines, every institution will select 2 Gender Champions (One boy and One girl) from the members of Gender Equity Forum with appreciation certificate and badge with the name of GENDER CHAMPION. So, two gender champions were selected in this program and honored by our Rashtrapati Awarded Resource Person (Dr. Mona Goel) with Advocate Mr. Dheeraj.
