PROTECTION OF WINGED FRIENDS

Extreme climatic conditions and deforestation have left birds without any shelter and it is
essential that we give them one. Keeping this in mind, the NSS Wing initiated an Eco-friendly innovation
to feed and protect birds under the central scheme for birds AASHRAY . It was inaugurated by Rev. Fr.
Peter Kavumpuram our director and Dr. Ajay Prashar our principal. Bird Houses are placed on trees at
the entrance of the college campus in order to provide them shelter in all seasons. Grains and water are
served daily to sustain them. The area is named ‘Basera- an Eco- Spot’.
