MESMERISING STAFF TRIP TO AGRA-DELHI

The management organised a staff trip to Agra and Delhi which commenced on 28th March at 4:00 pm. A total of 49 members joined this trip. After an overnight journey, we arrived in Agra at 6:45 am on 29th March. Following a refreshing break and breakfast at the NavJyoti pastoral centre, we visited the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This stunning white marble mausoleum was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. As we explored the Taj Mahal, we learned about its rich history and the romantic legend behind its construction. We were also struck by the perfect proportions and symmetry of the building, which seemed to change color as the sun moved across the sky. We spent quality time admiring the beauty of the Taj Mahal, taking photos, and soaking up the tranquil atmosphere of the surrounding gardens. We were also visited the Om Glass Factory, where we witnessed firsthand hard work and dedication that goes into crafting intricate glassware. This experience gave us a deeper appreciation for the skill and labor involved in creating such beautiful pieces.
We then had a very delicious lunch, savoring the local cuisine.
In the afternoon, we explored Sadar Bazar, where we engaged in some exciting shopping.
The evening was concluded with a delightful dinner, after which we returned to our place of accommodation. On the morning of 30th, we departed from Agra at 7:30 am and arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi around 12.30 pm. We took a guided tour of the premises, gaining insight into the historic significance of the venue. After the tour, we began our return journey at 4:30 pm, traveling by Shatabdi train and reached Jalandhar at 9.30 pm. The trip was a resounding success, providing a wonderful opportunity for team bonding and exploration of India’s rich cultural heritage.
