International Literacy Day Celebration
On 6th September 2019, under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Nidhi Sharma (HOD, Economics Department), the Economica Club organized a celebration on the eve of International Literacy Day. S. Tajinder Singh Bittu Chairman, PUNSUP was the Chief Guest and Dr. Anoop Sharma, Principal, DAV College, Nakodar was the Guest Speaker of the day. The event started with the Welcome Speech by Gunika, Vice-President of the College Cabinet followed by an Introduction about the Literacy day by Vandana, President of Economica Club. After this a small ppt on the importance and history of literacy was shown to the guests. The Guest Speaker then addressed the students of our college with his golden views on literacy followed by a small speech from the Chief Guest. The event was concluded with a Bhangra performance followed by a vote of thanks by Rebecca, Vice-President of Economica Club. The discipline was maintained by various members of Economica Club.
