EDUCATIONAL TRIP BY FACULTY OF ARTS AT JUNG-E-AZADI MEMORIAL
We are excited to share that the Faculty of Arts organised an educational excursion to the Jang-e-Azadi Memorial, led by Asst. Prof. Jyoti along with Asst. Prof. Navdeep Singh. 25 students of the department joined the tour.
The Jang-e-Azadi Memorial stands as a testament to the valor and sacrifices made during India’s struggle for independence. Our visit provided students with a profound understanding of the historical significance of the memorial and the events it commemorates.
During this students learnt about the freedom fighters and their contributions, enriching our understanding of the rich tapestry of India’s history facilitated engaging discussions, allowing students to ask questions and express their thoughts, thereby fostering a deeper connection to the subject matter.
The students were particularly moved by the exhibits and memorials that pay tribute to the countless individuals who fought for freedom. This experience not only enhanced their historical knowledge but also instilled a sense of pride and respect for our Nation’s heritage.
