Trinity College, Jalandhar Celebrated Hindi Diwas

                     

                    

Today, September 14, 2022 Faculty of Arts celebrated Hindi diwas. On this occasion a guest lecture was organized on the importance of Hindi Diwas. In which the famous litrarary writer Dr. Ajay Sharma attended as a resource person. The programme began with devotional music. Assistant Professor Raman Kumar Sharma, who acted as the moderator of the program, delivered the welcome speech. He appraised the achievements of Dr. Ajay Sharma . Rev. Sister Rita and The Head of the Faculty of Arts Prof. Ashok Kumar welcomed the chief guest with a bouquet of flowers as a token of love. After this, Dr. Ajay Sharma ji further strengthened the students’ bond with Hindi language and literature by informing the college students about the importance of Hindi Diwas, the present situation and getting employment opportunities through Hindi language in a very interesting way. On this occasion, Director of Trinity Group of Institutes Rev. Father Peter Kavumpuram congratulated the teachers of all faculty of arts for drawing up this programme. Welfare Coordinator, Assistant Professor Nidhi Sharma also shared her thoughts on Hindi Diwas. On this occasion, the management of the college. Dr. Ajay Sharma newly written play “Kitne Gandhi” was also released. The winners of the essay competition dedicated to Hindi Diwas were felicitated with certificates and gifts by the management of Trinity College. In which Preeti, a student of BA Semester V, got the first position, Anu Bala, a student of BA Semester I, got the second position and Priyanka, a student of BA Semester II, got the third position and brought laurels to her college and parents. The Artifact Club of the Faculty of Arts was also inaugurated on the occasion. Assistant Professor Daljit Kaur, head of the Artifact Club, introduced the students to the Artefact Club through PPT and the student members of this club were also honoured with badges. After this, Assistant Professor Ashok Kumar, Head of the Faculty of Arts, thanked everyone from the bottom of his heart through his speech. Finally, leaving behind his unforgettable memories, the programme ended with the national anthem. In the program, The Director of Trinity Group of Institutes Rev. Father Peter Kavumpuram G, Rev. Sister Rita Ji, Assistant Professor Nidhi Sharma, Coordinator of Students Welfare, Assistant Professor Ashok Kumar, Head of Faculty of Arts, Assistant Professor Raman Kumar Sharma, Program Coordinator, Assistant Professor Daljit Kaur, Coordinator of Artifact Club, Assistant Professor Daljit Kaur, Dr. Rekha, Dr. Malkiat Singh, Assistant Professor Karanveer, Assistant Professor Namrata Sanghwal, Assistant Professor Prabhjot, Assistant Professor Zeenat, all the teachers and students of the college participated.
