Awareness Program on the topic “Gender Sensitization: Changing Mindsets to Combat Harassment.

Under the esteemed supervision of our respected Management, today, the Gender Equity Forum and Internal Complaint Committee, in collaboration with NGO Divya Drishti (with whom an MOU is signed), organized an awareness program on the topic “Gender Sensitization: Changing Mindsets to Combat Harassment. We were honored to have Mrs. Parveen Abrol—President of NGO-Divya Drishti, Social Worker, Counselor, and Writer—as the resource person of the day. The event commenced with a floral welcome by Dr. Ajay Prashar, worthy Principal TCJ. Dr, Rekha (Coordinator Gender Equity Forum) extended a warm welcome to Dr. Ajay Prashar, esteemed Principal. The Gender Equity Forum team extended a warm welcome to Rev. Sr. Rita (Administrative Head), Rev. Sr. Elseena (Chairperson Staff Welfare) & Asst. Prof. Nidhi Sharma (Chairperson Student Welfare).
The program officially began with a welcome speech delivered by Precila, a student of B.A. 3rd Year. Following this, Mrs. Parveen Abrol interacted with the students, engaging them in a thought-provoking session on combating harassment through gender sensitization.
The program ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
In conclusion, this program has successfully laid the foundation for fostering awareness and sensitivity. Let us take these learnings forward and make gender equity a lived reality in our daily lives.
