OUTREACH PROGRAM TO MAQSUDAN BY DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is never wasted.
An outreach program under the ‘Wall of Kindness’ initiative was organized by the Department of Economics to Slum areas near Maqsudan, Jalandhar. 7 students along with 4 teachers  i.e. Asst. Prof. Tanya, Asst. Prof Nandita, Asst. Prof. Raman Kumar and Asst. Prof. Sanjay visited and distributed eatables, clothes, shoes and other things to the inmates. Students got an opportunity to know the suffering of these people closely and to share their sorrows. The visit proved to be very beneficial for them as they learned the value of sharing what we have with others. The Department always tries to inculcate and bring out good qualities of students through such activities that not only benefits the society but also in the holistic development of students.
