78th Independence Day Celebration at Trinity Group of Institutions
I am proud to share that on August 14, 2024, Trinity Group of Institutes, Jalandhar, celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with the collaborative efforts of the NSS and NCC wings. We were honored by the presence of Mr. Raman Arora, MLA of Jalandhar (Central), and PPS ACP Sardar Nirmal Singh as our esteemed chief guests.
The celebration began with a Shradhanjali to our freedom fighters and the lighting of the Amar Jawan Jyoti by our chief guest, followed by a heartfelt singing performance by Trinity students that beautifully expressed their patriotism.
Mr. Raman Arora extended his Independence Day greetings and urged the youth to contribute to the nation’s progress by staying drug-free. PPS ACP Sardar Nirmal Singh highlighted the importance of maintaining good health and commended Trinity Group for its commitment to student development and societal well-being. The atmosphere was filled with patriotism as students formed the number ’78’.
Following the celebration, a grand rally focused on promoting a drug-free India was held, involving 550 students and faculty members. The rally route was Guru Gobind Singh Avenue.
The event was attended by key figures, including Rev. Fr. Peter Kavampuram (Director, TGI), Rev. Fr. Binu Joseph (Assistant Director, TCJ), Rev. Fr. Jibu Joseph (Assistant Director, TIMT), Dr. Ajay Prashar (Principal, TCJ), and Dr. Puja Gaba (Principal, TIMT), Incharge Student Welfare along with all HODs, esteemed faculty members, and students.
