Interaction Program on the topic “Unpacking Patriarchy: How Gender Roles Impact Mental Health & Wellbeing.”

The Gender Equity Forum hosted an insightful Interaction Program on the topic “Unpacking Patriarchy: How Gender Roles Impact Mental Health & Wellbeing.” Assistant Professor Samriti Jangwal, Patron of Dream Makers-NGO, New Delhi, was the Resource Person for the day. The event commenced with a sociological perspective on gender roles and their impact on mental health and wellbeing.Engaging activities on gender dynamics were conducted by the Resource Person, offering students a hands-on learning experience. The students actively participated and gained valuable insights. In recognition of her contribution, Assistant Professor Samriti Jangwal was honored by Rev. Sr. Rita.In alignment with UGC guidelines, the program was entirely student-organized, emphasizing their active participation. Based on their performance, the selection of a Gender Champion will be followed.
