The Department of Economics
 The Department of Economics organized a guest lecture on the “ General Awareness on Mathemathics” on 30th January 2017. Associate professor Mr .Ajay Aggarwal  ,HOD ,DAV Jalandhar was the honourable guest.

  

The Department of Economics always believe in giving exposure to its students apart from just providing bookish knowledge. Keeping this thing in the mind the Department organized a Survey on Budget outside the boundaries of the college. Ten students alongwith the faculty members Asstt. Prof Nidhi Sharma , Asstt. Prof. Manisha , Asstt. Prof. Navdeep Kaur , Asstt. Prof. Deepika Sachdeva and Asstt. Prof. Navodita visited the Viva collage Mall Jalandhar where they interacted with the different people and convinced them to fill the questionnaires relating to the Union Budget presented on 1st February 2018. After completing their survey , students roamed around the mall and then a small refreshment was given to them by their teachers. Overall it was a knowledgeable and exciting day for the students and the teachers.

The Department of Arts
“First step is always play a decisive role in the Journey” believing in the idea Artifact club has been inaugurated on 12th August, 2017 during fresher’s day function and Inauguration of M.A. Political Science done.

 Faculty of Arts inaugurated Artifact Club with a beautiful choreography, in which students of Artifact Club presented the major highlights of the Department in a very impressive way. A PPT on the Artifact Club’s activities has been presented in a very impressive way. Office bearers of the Artifact Club for current session also declared on the occasion.

Department of Computer Science
Department of Computer science organized Student development program on 1st November 2017at 1:00 pm in Conference Hall. The resource person Mrs Ankita and Mr Natish Sharma gave a wonderful session on “”Android, digital marketing and PHP and their career scopes”.“Awareness on IT company profiles in which student can pursue their career”. The program was started with a solemn prayer followed by a brief introduction of the seminar by Asst. Prof. Rajinder Kaur. Asst. Prof. Jessy Jullian welcomed the guests of the day. The session was very beneficial for the student. The students became aware of different  careers in IT. They also gave some tips of Personality Development. The session ended with questionnaires. Students were cleared their doubts regarding IT. They conducted a mock interview which was appreciated by all the students.
